Pink Boots Society - Boston Chapter Member Event!

PBS aims to assist, inspire, and encourage women and non-binary individuals in the fermented/alcoholic beverage industry to advance their careers through education. This chapter meeting is free for current members and first-time attendees.

We’re excited to offer the PBS membership an opportunity to learn about craft sake in our brewery! We’ll lead a guided tasting, introduce sake brewing, and tour the brewery. PBS will provide something to eat. Folks are welcome to hang out and chat in our taproom; Amy will be staffing the bar!

Why PBS at Farthest Star Sake? Amy is a member! She became an accidental brewing-industry professional when we opened New England’s only sake brewery and sought professional help (haha) from PBS. Amy’s roles in our small family-run business include managing the taproom, social media, and paperwork support. As a member of PBS, Amy benefits from opportunities to listen to and learn from experienced people in the industry. Supporting diversity in brewing is important! We’re excited to be a part of it.
