On the first Thursday of every month, we partner with Medfield Public Library to host a sci-fi book club.

Scythe, by Neal Shusterman, 2016

Scythe takes place in a world where humans have reached immortality. They can even reset their clocks and live their younger years again. Scythes are the only ones who can end lives anymore. They live to a code, gleaning (the new word for killing) a certain number of lives a year to keep population control.

If you get a chance, pick up a copy at your local library or wherever you get books, read ahead, and come prepared to discuss in our awesome taproom… or just come to chat about sci-fi, reading, or other stuff and make some new friends!

Don’t forget to order some fresh, local sake at the bar to whet your whistle while you talk.
